Human Resources Manger

Reporting to the CFO, the Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function including administration of employee relations, benefits, payroll, compensation, recruitment and orientation.

The Manger is also responsible for the centralization, maintenance, and management of all employment records and Human Resource data while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations.

? Maintenance of all compensation and benefits programs, including benefit plan enrollment and administration and preparation of bi-weekly payroll
? Manages annual review process
? Creates and maintains employment records
? Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed
? Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
? Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance
? Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
? Reacts to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. Support the executive management by anticipating problems and offering solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
? A minimum of 5 years’ experience with preparation of payroll and benefits administration
? Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
? Must be able to maintain self-control in challenging circumstances and be reliable in attendance and punctuality
? This position requires the ability to work independently and use initiative, make difficult or unpleasant decisions, model ethics and compliance, and a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of seven years Human Resources experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Warehouse or Distribution Center experience preferred
? Extensive experience providing human resources services to professional employees, operation supervisors and hourly employees. A comprehensive knowledge of labor and employment law, as well as human resources professional standards are required.
? Strong familiarity, knowledge, and experience in employment law, regulation, practice and procedure
? Proven success in same or similar role
? Ability to interpret and advise on the application of EEO/AA laws
