You will be held accountable for:

  • Delivery of Service Level delivery (Case Fill/OTIF) as agreed with the Commercial team for EOC retail and food service products
  • Regular review of customer forecasts and capacity adjustments needed using MPS approach (also see scope), which will be at a monthly rolling frequency. Identify and recommend options to mitigate medium to long term capacity/supply bottlenecks
  • Ensuring weekly finite production schedules are aligned to MPS. Measurement and reporting of KPIs (MPS Attainment, Weekly Schedule Adherence and Weekly Plan Stability) on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Ensuring availability of all component materials (except Green Coffee) to support supply plan, with inventory carrying goals in place.  This would mean ordering, call off and management of inventory at site to ensure uninterrupted production and inventory levels.
  • Ensuring component material inventory accuracy, owning a robust cycle counting program, and reporting against goals.
  • Ensuring good material storage practices which support site’s quality, hygiene and safety initiatives
  • Ensuring component inventory SLOBs is minimal and reporting against goals
  • Supports inventory management programs to minimize raw material investment and ensure material availability to support manufacturing operations.
  • Managing packaging materials stock transitions (owing to design changes etc.) with the ability to provide visibility of information as required. All such transitions will be in sync between physical and system perspectives.
  • Establishing, monitoring and reporting Vendor Performance Scorecard from an OTIF standpoint
  • Facilitates regular production schedule, review meetings and publishes notes.
  • Ensuring MRP settings and parameters are upto date from a scheduling and component ordering / inventory control standpoint
  • Maintains inventory and Master Data records as appropriate to support material initiatives
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.

To be great at this job you will need:

 

  • Bachelors Degree or four years supply management experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience of working in an ERP/MRP environment
  • Requires computer literacy in MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must be proactive and assertive but a TEAM player
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good project management, organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of QAD and APICS preferred but not required.
